Three Year-Old Afternoon Enrichment Program
Three year-old children who register for this program participate in their morning class until 12:00, eat lunch, play and relax from 12:00-12:30, and attend enrichment from 12:30 –1:30. The full program runs on Wednesdays. If there is enough interest, we may run a class on Friday afternoon too. Annual registration is required for this program which runs the full academic year.
This enrichment program will include various monthly themes. Some of these themes may include: All About Me, Family and Friends, My Five Senses, Community Helpers, Polar Region Animals, Ocean, Nursery Rhymes, Farm, and Insects.
Each day the children will discuss what the theme is, learn new facts, listen to stories, sing songs, and create an art project about that theme. The enrichment class is a wonderful opportunity to reinforce skills learned in the morning session. Children will also explore themes through various types of activities like science, math, dramatic play, block play, and fine and gross motor skills.
This program is designed to foster and enhance children’s love of learning through themes they enjoy.
